About this role

Ailani Wind Joint Venture seeks an Intermediate Appian Developer to design and build secure applications supporting Air Force mission processes in classified environments. You'll develop workflows, interfaces, and integrations using Appian within an Agile team while maintaining compliance with federal security standards.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop Appian Process Modeler workflows with Smart Services, gateways, exception handling, and reusable patterns
  • Build responsive SAIL interfaces, forms, dashboards, records, and reusable components
  • Configure Appian Records and Data Fabric; create data models, CDTs, and queries for relational databases
  • Integrate Appian with MariaDB, Oracle, SQL sources, JSON services, and Web APIs using Connected Systems
  • Implement security controls including CUI/PII protection, role-based and row-level access, and DAF compliance requirements
  • Test applications, support UAT, troubleshoot defects, and maintain comprehensive documentation across design, security, and sustainment
