About this role
Join Plaid as a Full Stack Software Engineer to build scalable backend services and intuitive frontend experiences that power financial connectivity for millions of users. You'll work primarily on backend systems (60-70%) while contributing to modern frontend interfaces, collaborating with product and design teams to ship secure, reliable financial tools.
What you'll do
- Design and develop full-stack components with emphasis on backend API and service architecture
- Build scalable, secure, and performant backend systems handling financial data
- Create intuitive frontend experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement features
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive automated tests
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across the stack
