About this role
Join Everpure's Core Products Business Unit as a Systems Software Engineer to design and build infrastructure that automates hardware upgrade workflows for next-generation storage systems. You'll transform manual, support-intensive processes into safe, self-service experiences integrated with Pure1 and Skyline cloud platforms while maintaining strict reliability standards.
What you'll do
- Architect and implement high-reliability systems software for controller-upgrade automation and hardware upgrade frameworks
- Design state machines, health checks, and failure-handling mechanisms to ensure safe and resilient upgrade operations
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and CI/CD automation across diverse hardware and software combinations
- Establish observability and telemetry to track upgrade execution metrics and error modes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with cloud teams and global engineering units to deliver end-to-end guided upgrade experiences
- Bridge on-array software execution with cloud-guided operations to eliminate manual choreography
