Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Overhead Crane Operator / Steel Material Handler to support daily steel handling and yard operations. This hands-on role involves moving structural steel, loading and unloading trailers, and operating material-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to move and load structural steel.

• Jockey trailers around the yard.

• Operate Pettibone equipment to transport steel throughout the yard.

• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Maintain reliable attendance and follow workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating overhead cranes and handling materials.

• Experience loading structural steel with an overhead crane is required.

• Familiarity with Pettibone equipment and trailer jockeying is beneficial.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and consistent attendance.

Training may be available for candidates with relevant equipment experience who are willing to learn.
