Forward Deployed Engineer, Epic Specialist

Qualified Health is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in Epic to collaborate with health systems, implementing AI-driven clinical workflows within Epic environments. This client-facing role requires hands-on integration work and a deep understanding of clinical processes in healthcare settings.

What you'll do

• Act as the primary technical resource for 1–2 health system clients.
• Lead workflow discovery sessions and map current clinical processes.
• Design integration specifications for AI use cases within Epic.
• Coordinate with client Epic teams on interface builds.
• Conduct end-to-end testing and validation of solutions.
• Assist with change management to promote AI-enabled workflows.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in Epic implementation or healthcare IT.
• Experience with at least one Epic module.
• Solution design capability for technical and clinical audiences.
• Understanding of HL7 v2 and FHIR R4 concepts.
