GTM Business Systems Engineer, Quote-to-Cash
About this role
Ramp seeks a Senior Business Systems Engineer to design and maintain Quote-to-Cash systems integrating Salesforce CPQ, contracts, and billing platforms. You'll own end-to-end commercial workflows—from quote creation through renewals—partnering with Deal Desk, Finance, and GTM teams to ensure reliable, scalable revenue operations.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce platform applications and Lightning Web Components
- Build and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce CPQ, Ironclad, billing systems, and adjacent platforms with robust error handling and reconciliation
- Design and maintain iPaaS solutions using tools like Workato and Clay for quote-to-cash workflows
- Define architecture patterns, data models, and technical specifications including diagrams and sequence flows
- Own data integrity, governance, and scaling decisions for quote, contract, and subscription systems
- Participate in code reviews, on-call support, and collaborate on system design with cross-functional teams

- Salesforce platform (7+ years) including Apex, triggers, and Lightning Web Components
- Systems architecture and integrations (5+ years)
- API design and Salesforce integrations with async/sync patterns and pub-sub architecture
- Python or other programming languages
- Data pipelines and CI/CD processes
- CPQ, billing, contract lifecycle management, and subscription domain knowledge
- SQL and familiarity with broader GTM stack (Gong, Leandata, billing systems)
- AI-assisted development tools and commercial requirements translation
