About this role
Reflect Orbital seeks a Flight Software Engineering Intern to design, develop, and test spacecraft components for their orbital constellation. You'll have full ownership of projects from concept through manufacturing and validation, working hands-on in their Hawthorne, CA office for a minimum 12-week commitment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop novel spacecraft components end-to-end
- Build and execute complete testing setups and validation frameworks
- Prototype solutions rapidly and iterate based on results
- Contribute directly to the constellation's mission success
- Take ownership of manufacturing and testing phases
- Ship completed work to production quality standards
