Simulation and Modeling Engineer II

Relativity Space is seeking a Simulation and Modeling Engineer II to contribute to the development of the 6DOF simulation for the Terran R rocket. This role requires collaboration across teams to develop flight algorithms and optimize flight dynamics, while offering opportunities to influence design and enhance the performance of aerospace vehicles.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the 6DOF simulation for GNC algorithm development
• Integrate subsystem models into the simulation
• Implement numerical solvers and physics models
• Develop simulation configurations and Monte Carlo capabilities
• Create simulation interfaces with GNC algorithms
• Maintain and improve the simulation development environment

• Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related fields
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
