About this role
Relativity Space is seeking a Simulation and Modeling Engineer II to contribute to the development of the 6DOF simulation for the Terran R rocket. This role requires collaboration across teams to develop flight algorithms and optimize flight dynamics, while offering opportunities to influence design and enhance the performance of aerospace vehicles.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the 6DOF simulation for GNC algorithm development
- Integrate subsystem models into the simulation
- Implement numerical solvers and physics models
- Develop simulation configurations and Monte Carlo capabilities
- Create simulation interfaces with GNC algorithms
- Maintain and improve the simulation development environment

- Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related fields
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
