DevOps Engineer II
About this role
Renaissance is looking for a DevOps Engineer II to join their Platform Team, driving the transition to a platform-centric model for their K-12 educational technology solutions. This role involves building and maintaining a scalable SaaS platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure and customer experiences.
What you'll do
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives with CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines.
- Design and maintain containerized applications.
- Enhance developer tooling for team productivity.
- Work with event-driven systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for software release.
What they're looking for
- 4 years of software development experience
- Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience
- Experience with containerized applications
- Familiarity with data pipeline development
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong scripting language skills (Python, shell, etc.)
- Interest in event-driven systems
- Ability to tackle open-ended challenges independently
