DevOps Engineer II

Renaissance is looking for a DevOps Engineer II to join their Platform Team, driving the transition to a platform-centric model for their K-12 educational technology solutions. This role involves building and maintaining a scalable SaaS platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure and customer experiences.

What you'll do

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines.
• Design and maintain containerized applications.
• Enhance developer tooling for team productivity.
• Work with event-driven systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for software release.

What they're looking for

• 4 years of software development experience
• Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience with containerized applications
• Familiarity with data pipeline development
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong scripting language skills (Python, shell, etc.)
• Interest in event-driven systems
• Ability to tackle open-ended challenges independently
