Product Engineer, Product Platform (Frontend)

Replit is seeking a Product Engineer to enhance its frontend platform, ensuring a solid architecture that facilitates fast and reliable product development. The role offers collaboration across teams to improve user experiences and streamline engineering processes.

What you'll do

• Design platform APIs and shared use primitives
• Profile user journeys and implement performance improvements
• Safely roll out cross-cutting changes with migration paths
• Set technical direction in design and architecture reviews
• Collaborate with product teams for reusable platform enhancements

• Experience in user-facing software deployment
• Frontend architecture design (frameworks, state, routing)
• API and data layer development (REST/GraphQL)
• Performance measurement and improvement
• Knowledge in modern web stacks (TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js)
• Ability to make architecture trade-offs
