Rigetti Computing seeks an experienced Cryogenics and RF Field Engineer to deploy, operate, and maintain quantum computing systems at customer sites worldwide. This hands-on role combines technical expertise in cryogenic and RF hardware with field service responsibilities, requiring global travel and cross-functional collaboration with physicists, engineers, and customer teams.

What you'll do

  • Deploy and operate dilution refrigerators and RF systems at customer facilities globally
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues spanning RF, vacuum, cryogenics, and electronics
  • Perform maintenance and validation of cryogenic infrastructure and RF hardware
  • Collaborate with Rigetti engineering teams and customer stakeholders on system optimization
  • Document system performance and provide technical support across time zones
  • Travel internationally to assigned customer sites for system installation and support
