About this role

Join Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies as a Software Test Technician to execute vehicle-level testing for electric vehicles across the software delivery lifecycle. You'll manage test fleets, perform hands-on validation of OTA releases, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure software quality and stability.

What you'll do

  • Execute vehicle-level testing including smoke, regression, and integration tests on main-branch and release-branch software
  • Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing to validate feature maturity and stability
  • Manage test fleet operations including OTA updates, software configurations, and vehicle instrumentation
  • Triage and troubleshoot issues found during testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis
  • Support broader test community with vehicle preparation, maintenance, and debug of vehicle-specific problems
  • Drive and validate prototype test vehicles on test tracks
