About this role

Join a well-funded aerospace and defense startup as a Systems Engineer to drive modular motion control innovation. You'll author and maintain system-level requirements, manage design review deliverables, and coordinate across hardware, software, and mechanical engineering disciplines in a fast-moving, lean environment.

What you'll do

  • Author and maintain system-level requirements in JAMA with proper traceability and allocation across disciplines
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering deliverables for design reviews (PDR, CDR) and customer submissions
  • Maintain traceability between verification activities, test results, and requirements; compile evidence into certification packages
  • Decompose work items in the Integrated Master Schedule and communicate program status and risks to leadership
  • Facilitate engineering working sessions, design reviews, and cross-functional coordination with action item tracking
  • Serve as integration point between systems, hardware, software, and mechanical teams to translate requirements and surface risks early
