ML Features Solutions Engineer

About this role

The ML Features Solutions Engineer will drive the development and enhancement of machine learning features for SambaNova's generative AI platform. This role bridges the gap between ML research and product engineering, ensuring reliable deployment of ML solutions for enterprise customers.

What you'll do

• Design and implement core ML features including model optimization
• Optimize model performance on SambaNova hardware
• Develop features such as Function Calling and Structured Output
• Create end-to-end ML solutions for customer adoption
• Translate cutting-edge ML research into deployable features
• Establish benchmarks for ML features in production

What they're looking for

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years in ML engineering or applied research
• Experience with large language models and transformers
• Proficient in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch required)
• Knowledge of model optimization techniques
• Understanding of LLM inference optimization
• Experience deploying ML models at scale
• Track record of translating research into production
