About this role
Saronic Technologies is looking for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer to enhance safety and compliance within their operations. The role involves collaborating with teams to develop safety solutions and promote continuous improvement across various EHS initiatives.
What you'll do
- Communicate progress and updates across departments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for program management
- Evaluate designs for compliance with safety standards
- Develop safety standards for autonomous platforms
- Lead safety testing and adherence checks
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses and risk assessments
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 4+ years of EHS experience, preferably in maritime
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of EHS regulations (OSHA, ANSI, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with EHS software applications
- Professional certification preferred (CSP, CIH, etc.)
