Saronic Technologies is hiring a Forward Deployed Hardware Engineer to enhance maritime operations by integrating advanced mechanical and electrical systems into their autonomous platforms. This hands-on role involves deploying technology in real-world maritime environments while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and refine hardware designs.
What you'll do
- Integrate mechanical and electrical systems onto Autonomous Service Vessels (ASVs)
- Lead rapid prototyping for field experimentation
- Perform system integration and troubleshooting
- Oversee dockside and sea trials for system validation
- Provide feedback on design-for-assembly and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years in electromechanical systems
- Mechanical assembly and fabrication skills
- Electrical integration experience
- Prototyping and debugging expertise
- Familiarity with CAD tools
- Understanding of networking protocols
- Comfortable in dynamic environments
