Saronic Technologies is hiring a Forward Deployed Hardware Engineer to enhance maritime operations by integrating advanced mechanical and electrical systems into their autonomous platforms. This hands-on role involves deploying technology in real-world maritime environments while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and refine hardware designs.

What you'll do

• Integrate mechanical and electrical systems onto Autonomous Service Vessels (ASVs)
• Lead rapid prototyping for field experimentation
• Perform system integration and troubleshooting
• Oversee dockside and sea trials for system validation
• Provide feedback on design-for-assembly and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years in electromechanical systems
• Mechanical assembly and fabrication skills
• Electrical integration experience
• Prototyping and debugging expertise
• Familiarity with CAD tools
• Understanding of networking protocols
• Comfortable in dynamic environments
