About this role

Saronic Technologies seeks a Metrology Engineer to develop and maintain dimensional inspection programs while managing the lifecycle of engineered tooling and fixtures. This role combines metrology programming expertise with configuration management, supporting production, engineering, and R&D through accurate measurement systems and controlled tooling assets.

What you'll do

  • Develop and validate CMM and 3D scanning inspection programs to support production operations
  • Create measurement strategies from CAD models, drawings, and GD&T requirements
  • Perform measurement system analysis (MSA/Gage R&R) and drive repeatability improvements
  • Manage tooling and fixture lifecycle including tracking, surveillance, calibration, and controlled release
  • Fulfill special measurement requests from Engineering and R&D for prototypes and investigative studies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve dimensional and tooling issues
