About this role
Saronic Technologies is looking for a Structures Engineer in Austin, TX, to spearhead the structural design of its autonomous surface vessels. What you'll do
- Lead structural design for autonomous surface vessels
- Maintain design gates and schedules for hardware
- Conduct design reviews for structural systems
- Support prototyping of new ASV platforms
- Collaborate with teams to optimize designs
- Generate technical documentation on design decisions
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years in structural analysis and simulation
- Experience with stress calculations and FEA software
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
