Wire Harness Design Engineer (EWIS)

About this role

Saronic Technologies is looking for a Wire Harness Design Engineer to design and maintain electrical interconnection systems for marine platforms. The engineer will collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical teams to develop manufacturing blueprints while adhering to industry standards.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain EWIS architectures and assembly drawings in Zuken E3.
• Use NX CAD software for 3D harness routing per design standards.
• Review EWIS designs to meet project specifications.
• Apply industry standards consistently in design and documentation.
• Provide technical support during harness construction and integration.
• Communicate with project managers and stakeholders for coordination.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5–10+ years of experience in EWIS design or harness engineering
• Proficiency in Zuken E3 and Siemens Capital
• Experience with NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks Electrical
• Knowledge of electrical systems design principles
• Ability to produce complex technical documentation
• Familiarity with industry standards like IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Project management skills in fast-paced environments
