Software Engineer, Platform

Scale is seeking a Software Engineer for its Platform team to design and enhance foundational systems utilized across its AI products. The ideal candidate will have extensive development experience, particularly with distributed systems and cloud platforms, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in software deployment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement foundational platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with teams to define and deliver new features.
• Identify and drive improvements in programming practices.
• Present technical information and provide guidance to stakeholders.

• 3+ years of engineering experience
• Back-end systems expertise
• Distributed systems knowledge
• Public cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)
• Proficient in containerization and deployment technologies
• Experience with NoSQL and structured databases
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
• CI/CD tooling familiarity
