About this role

Scout Motors seeks a specialized engineer to develop and calibrate battery electric and extended-range electric powertrains for next-generation pickup trucks and SUVs. You'll lead function integration, manage supplier coordination, and own Scout-specific drive calibration from concept through production release, ensuring authentic off-road performance.

What you'll do

  • Support BEV and EREV powertrain development, integration, and calibration for Scout vehicles
  • Coordinate drive system function integration across internal teams and suppliers, aligning on requirements and timelines
  • Lead inverter-related calibration including torque delivery, efficiency, thermal behavior, and diagnostics
  • Own development and calibration of Scout-specific drive functions from concept to series release
  • Define and manage function bring-up with software suppliers, including onsite commissioning support
  • Ensure robust off-road driving experience across all operating conditions
