About this role
Scout Motors seeks a Process Quality Engineer to lead battery architecture quality improvements for their innovative electric and range-extended vehicles. You'll drive quality strategies using production and warranty data, collaborate across engineering and operations, and ensure Scout's vehicles meet customer expectations and KPI targets.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute quality improvement strategies for battery architecture based on warranty and production data
- Partner with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain on development and ongoing production activities
- Analyze field and production data to support quality and production KPI goals
- Lead root cause analysis planning, execution, and evaluation to maintain high production quality
- Execute quality fast response processes and drive cross-functional improvements with Engineering and Operations
- Define and maintain quality processes and technical standards in collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations teams
