As a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer at Sierra, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of customer deployments, ensuring Sierra’s AI platform is architected and managed effectively across various enterprise environments. This role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to meet deployment requirements and streamline operations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement deployment strategies for customer environments
- Manage the complete infrastructure lifecycle for key customers
- Develop deployment runbooks and automation tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams on platform operability
- Work with customers on navigating infrastructure and compliance
- Scope infrastructure requirements for sales and onboarding
What they're looking for
- 4+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or solutions architecture
- Proficiency in AWS services and Terraform
- Experience with cloud networking and container orchestration
- Ability to manage customer deployments and compliance
- Strong operational instincts for upgrades and monitoring
- Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
