Forward Deployed Engineer

Sigma is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to assist enterprise clients in implementing their cloud-native platform, enhancing data usability for significant business insights. The role involves direct collaboration with clients to design, build, and optimize analytics solutions while ensuring successful deployments.

What you'll do

• Lead implementation from kickoff to production for enterprise customers.
• Analyze business problems and design solutions using Sigma tools.
• Deliver production-quality analytics applications and workflows.
• Conduct live technical sessions with users and data engineers.
• Monitor and resolve data performance and accuracy issues.
• Document technical blockers and facilitate resolutions.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
• Proven track record in building analytics applications
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
• Ability to manage multiple engagements independently
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with analytics platforms like Tableau or Looker (nice to have)
