Sigma is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to assist enterprise clients in implementing their cloud-native platform, enhancing data usability for significant business insights. The role involves direct collaboration with clients to design, build, and optimize analytics solutions while ensuring successful deployments.
What you'll do
- Lead implementation from kickoff to production for enterprise customers.
- Analyze business problems and design solutions using Sigma tools.
- Deliver production-quality analytics applications and workflows.
- Conduct live technical sessions with users and data engineers.
- Monitor and resolve data performance and accuracy issues.
- Document technical blockers and facilitate resolutions.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
- Proven track record in building analytics applications
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
- Ability to manage multiple engagements independently
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with analytics platforms like Tableau or Looker (nice to have)
