Prospera AI - AI Backend Engineer

About this role

Prospera AI is seeking an AI Backend Engineer to enhance their AI orchestration platform, Sophie, and to help transition it from a prototype to a scalable enterprise solution. As the first dedicated engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical framework and supporting the CTO in crucial architectural decisions.

What you'll do

• Design and optimize the multi-agent orchestration system
• Implement enhancements to reduce response latency
• Develop robust prompt management systems
• Create retrieval-augmented generation systems for context-aware responses
• Develop APIs for integrating AI functionalities with the frontend
• Establish code review practices and document architectural decisions

What they're looking for

• 4+ years of production Python experience
• Experience with LLM APIs
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and workflows
• API development experience (FastAPI or similar)
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills
• Familiarity with RAG systems and vector databases
• Real-time implementation experience
• TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge
