About this role
Senior Software Engineer role focused on designing and operating the distributed platform infrastructure for SingleStore's AI applications. You'll manage container orchestration, resource scaling, billing, observability, and multi-region/cloud deployments while mentoring engineers and driving production reliability at scale.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain platform services for notebooks, jobs, apps, AI agents, and model serving on SingleStore
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from conception through deployment with mentorship of other engineers
- Collaborate with product, design, customers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality experiences
- Establish engineering standards and best practices for system design, testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines
- Share on-call responsibilities and drive improvements in cloud infrastructure reliability, security, and cost efficiency
- Manage services for container pools, resource scaling, routing, RBAC, billing, and secure cluster networking
