About this role

Glydways seeks a Localization Systems Engineer to develop and validate software for autonomous vehicle positioning and mapping systems. You'll own requirements capture, testing strategies, and system-level solutions across simulation, track, and hardware-in-the-loop environments while collaborating with safety and autonomy teams.

What you'll do

  • Own algorithm and test requirements capture, conducting reviews with autonomy, systems, and safety teams
  • Write and maintain simulation, track test, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test scenarios for localization validation
  • Champion unit test coverage and code quality across the localization codebase
  • Conduct code and requirements reviews with teammates, demonstrating deep system comprehension
  • Work with safety teams to configure and fine-tune localization algorithms
  • Provide systems-level solutions to unblock algorithm and hardware development efforts
