Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Associate

Sixth Street is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Associate in Dallas, TX to support and expand their established cloud environment across AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture and security practices, as well as a collaborative mindset to streamline operations and make impactful decisions.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure with a software engineering approach.
• Utilize cloud capabilities for reliable and scalable business solutions.
• Make independent technical decisions and document reasoning.
• Engage in continuous learning and educate others in the team.
• Manage tasks using Jira and document findings in GitHub and Confluence.

What they're looking for

• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, and routing
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows PowerShell
• Debugging skills in Python and JavaScript
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
