About this role
SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer for land development to design and oversee construction of infrastructure projects at their College Station facility. This hands-on role combines design work with field project management, covering heavy civil and utility components from planning through completion.
What you'll do
- Develop drawings, design documentation, and reports for industrial and commercial land development projects
- Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, water distribution, and underground utility calculations
- Coordinate design and permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies
- Manage civil construction aspects in the field including quality control and multi-discipline contractor coordination
- Develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates with contractors and internal stakeholders
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time during project execution
