SpaceX is seeking a Critical Lift & Transport Engineer to join their Vandenberg, CA launch site team. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient execution of heavy-lift transport operations for Falcon vehicles and ground support equipment, requiring strong technical expertise and effective cross-team coordination.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute critical lifts and heavy-haul transports adhering to safety standards
• Develop lift plans and rigging designs using computational tools and calculations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for assessing load paths and hardware properties
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for lift and transport operations
• Oversee on-site operations and ensure regulatory documentation is maintained
• Drive continuous improvement in lift and transport processes

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience with mechanical and structural hardware
• Knowledge of lifting standards and regulations
• Familiarity with CAD software like Siemens NX or SOLIDWORKS
• Understanding of mechanics and material science
• Strong communication skills

• Experience with crane lifting and rigging operations
