IT Security Engineer - Top Secret Clearance

About this role

SpaceX seeks an IT Security Engineer with Top Secret clearance to design, deploy, and manage enterprise security solutions for classified networks. The role involves implementing identity management, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management while supporting demanding engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and operate security controls for classified networks including authentication, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
• Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate, plan, and deploy resilient security solutions tailored to SpaceX's engineering requirements
• Harden and secure IT services used by engineering staff including email, file servers, directory services, and internal applications
• Reduce standing privilege by reviewing and improving access controls, permissions, and group memberships
• Apply enterprise security standards and lessons learned to smaller classified environments
• Take ownership of security processes, systems, and tools supporting SpaceX's mission goals
