About this role

SpaceX seeks a Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate the infrastructure powering Starlink's satellite constellation and global network. You'll build automation for on-premise Kubernetes clusters, manage core infrastructure systems, and collaborate with engineers to scale reliable products serving millions of users.

What you'll do

  • Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise Kubernetes clusters
  • Deploy and manage core infrastructure including databases, monitoring, and distributed storage
  • Collaborate with software engineers to create scalable, maintainable products
  • Support full service lifecycle from design through deployment, operation, and refinement
  • Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure high system availability
  • Troubleshoot and integrate across the Starlink technology stack
