This role involves collaboration with design and testing teams to ensure product reliability and facilitate the transition from new product introduction to high-volume production.

What you'll do

  • Manage new product introductions for optical fiber assemblies
  • Design and implement production test procedures to enhance reliability
  • Work with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes
  • Drive corrective actions for non-conforming hardware
  • Investigate root causes of issues to enhance reliability
  • Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability improvements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 1+ years in mechanical/electromechanical design or manufacturing
  • Experience with optical fiber assemblies
  • Knowledge of various fiber technologies
  • Familiarity with manufacturing techniques like splicing
  • High volume production experience
  • Statistical analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills
