Manufacturing Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Starlink project in Bastrop, TX, to enhance manufacturing processes from concept to production. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams and a focus on production efficiency, quality, and automation in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement assembly and test processes
• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability
• Lead prototype builds and ensure production milestones
• Ensure manufacturing systems meet volume, cost, and quality targets
• Lead facilities development and material flow definition
• Identify tooling needs and automation opportunities

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years in a manufacturing setting
• Experience in high-volume production
• Ability to implement automation
• Design skills for manufacturing tooling
• Experience with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and MES systems
• Proficient in NX and Teamcenter
