Mechanical Engineer (Starship Avionics)

What you'll do

• Design packaging for electro-mechanical assemblies
• Perform thermal and structural analysis
• Create production drawings and manage design data
• Conduct failure analysis of components
• Interface with machine shops and production teams
• Lead design reviews and ensure structural integrity

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 1+ years of mechanical or electromechanical design experience
• Proficiency in CAD and FEA software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of structural analysis and failure modes
• Experience with high volume production designs
• Familiarity with thermal and FEA studies
• Understanding of GD&T
