Physical Design Engineer II (Silicon Engineering)

About this role

SpaceX is seeking a Physical Design Engineer II to contribute to the development of advanced ASICs for the Starlink network. This role involves close collaboration with various engineering teams to tackle physical design challenges and improve methodologies for satellite and ground systems.

What you'll do

• Perform partition synthesis and physical implementation steps
• Develop and enhance physical design methodologies and automation scripts
• Collaborate with the ASIC design team for architectural feasibility studies
• Resolve design and timing issues while driving execution
• Run and debug signoff closure issues in static timing analysis
