About this role
SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to join their Raptor Components manufacturing team. In this role, you will lead the development and integration of advanced engine control components, ensuring their manufacturability and reliability while supporting high production rates.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for Raptor engine components
- Drive innovative manufacturing solutions for high production targets
- Challenge and improve processes in collaboration with design engineers
- Manage new product introductions and revisions
- Ensure production line quality, safety, and consistency
- Lead investigations to resolve hardware issues during development and production
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 1+ years of experience in engine or fluid system design
- Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills
- Leadership and project management experience
- Expertise in design for manufacturability
- Understanding of fluid systems and solid mechanics
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
