About this role

SpaceX seeks an RF Engineer to join the Starlink Reliability team, diagnosing and resolving hardware failures in satellite internet customer equipment through telemetry analysis, hands-on debugging, and custom tooling. You'll support product launches and internal testing while collaborating across engineering, production, and quality teams.

What you'll do

  • Analyze telemetry and logs to diagnose root causes of failures in phased-array, Wi-Fi, and power supply circuit boards
  • Develop and maintain custom software tools to measure performance and reliability of Starlink customer hardware
  • Execute internal beta testing and product launch validation to identify design flaws before public release
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, test, and supply chain teams to implement corrective actions
  • Debug failed hardware through hands-on troubleshooting and laboratory testing
  • Drive problem-solving under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
