About this role
SpaceX seeks an RF Software Engineer to design and validate radio frequency systems for the Starlink satellite constellation. You'll develop RF test infrastructure, create electromagnetic simulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve large-scale satellite communication challenges in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Drive RF system design decisions at the program level
- Design and build RF test benches using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Develop test automation sequences in Python and C++ for design validation and production
- Research novel RF solutions for satellite communications and remote sensing
- Create electromagnetic simulation models to evaluate hardware performance
- Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers on RF system validation
