About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer for Starlink's telemetry platform to design and operate a distributed system handling petabyte-scale data ingestion, processing, and querying. You'll own end-to-end solutions, collaborating with satellite and rocket teams to deliver the infrastructure powering Starlink's global broadband network.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and operate a highly reliable, distributed telemetry platform at petabyte scale
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews
- Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission requirements into technical solutions
- Take full end-to-end ownership of complete software and hardware stacks
- Apply first principles thinking to solve complex business and technical problems
