Full Stack Engineer
About this role
Sphinx seeks a Full Stack Engineer to develop mission planning and command-and-control software for space communications. You'll build responsive frontends and robust backend services for a national security platform, owning features end-to-end in a collaborative, security-focused environment.
What you'll do
- Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, Vue, TypeScript, and modern web technologies
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases using Python, SQL, and RESTful architecture
- Own small-to-medium features from development through testing, deployment, and production support
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests to validate software quality
- Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and validate functionality
- Participate in code reviews, communicate technical considerations early, and contribute to product improvements
