Software Engineer, Product Security Data Platforms

Stripe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their new Product Security Data Platforms team in Seattle. This role focuses on architecting scalable security data pipelines and developing an API-first service to enhance visibility into security for Stripe users.

What you'll do

• Design and implement a highly available security data pipeline
• Develop core services and APIs for enterprise security operations
• Collaborate with security researchers to identify anomalous behavior
• Lead the technical roadmap and make decisions on data strategies
• Set standards for code quality and system resilience
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection

What they're looking for

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Expertise in data engineering and distributed systems
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Rust
• Operational experience with high availability services
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with security analytics and threat detection (preferred)
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (preferred)
• Front-end or full stack experience with React or TypeScript (preferred)
