Site Reliability Engineer

Supabase seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability of their platform's engineering teams. The role involves establishing practices for operational excellence and collaboration across various service teams in a fully remote setting.

What you'll do

• Define SLIs and SLOs to influence engineering decisions.
• Manage the Operational Readiness Review process for new services.
• Connect postmortem insights to operational improvements.
• Provide reliability expertise for architecture and resilience designs.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and promote automation.
• Assist in developing sustainable on-call practices.

What they're looking for

• 7+ years in SRE or reliability roles.
• Software engineering mindset and coding skills.
• Experience with SLO/SLI operationalization.
• Deep knowledge of incident response processes.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant systems.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code.
• Effective communication skills for influencing teams.
• Experience in asynchronous and distributed teams.
