About this role

STR's Collaborative Autonomy and Control Group seeks a software engineer to design and develop algorithms and systems for autonomous platforms, unmanned systems, and mission planning. You'll work across the full development lifecycle on projects involving machine learning, control systems, and DevSecOps in a hybrid role based in Woburn, MA or Arlington, VA.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced autonomy algorithms and software systems
  • Integrate, test, and demonstrate solutions across the full software development lifecycle
  • Build tools and applications for mission planning, automated control, and unmanned platforms
  • Develop and maintain DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team on prototype and production systems
  • Support programs from early concepts through integrated system deployment
