The On-Site Integrated Photonics Engineer will be responsible for advancing research in quantum networks and developing integrated photonic devices tailored for quantum applications. The role emphasizes hands-on design, simulation, and optimization in collaboration with teams at the Air Force Research Lab and Innovare Advancement Center.

What you'll do

• Conduct research on heterogeneous quantum networks
• Design and optimize integrated photonic devices for quantum applications
• Interface photonics with control systems and detectors
• Lead fabrication processes for photonic circuits
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
• Ensure designs are scalable and manufacturable
