About this role
TENEX is seeking a SOC Engineer to enhance cyber defense through incident response, telemetry evaluation, and automation. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and clients to improve detection capabilities and SOC operations.
What you'll do
- Lead high-severity incident investigations and containment.
- Evaluate and enhance telemetry and logging coverage.
- Ensure SIEM and detection quality through platform analysis.
- Contribute to the development of response automation.
- Support technical needs across the organization.
- Identify and implement improvements in SOC tools and workflows.

- 5+ years in security operations or incident response
- Fluency in logging and telemetry evaluation
- Experience with SIEM platforms like Google Chronicle or Splunk
- Knowledge of response automation and SOAR tools
- Familiarity with cloud security architecture

- Strong communication across technical audiences
