About this role
TensorWave is seeking a Virtualization Operations Engineer to manage and optimize large-scale virtualization environments and ensure performance and stability across GPU-intensive systems. The role demands hands-on management of virtual machines, hypervisors, and infrastructure systems in a dynamic AI computing environment.
What you'll do
- Operate and maintain large-scale virtualization environments
- Manage the lifecycle of virtual machines
- Monitor and resolve platform health issues
- Troubleshoot across hypervisors and networking layers
- Implement safe infrastructure changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

- Experience with Linux-based virtualization platforms
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems
- Troubleshooting skills for resource contention
- Familiarity with VM lifecycle and resource allocation
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible
- Ability to manage production incidents
