About this role
Tenstorrent is looking for a junior-to-mid SOC Emulation Engineer to enhance their hardware emulation infrastructure. This hybrid role involves developing Python test frameworks and offering support across multiple chip projects.
What you'll do
- Integrate vendor and custom hardware transactors into testbenches
- Develop Python-based automation and test frameworks
- Support internal chip design teams with emulation needs
- Triage and debug issues across the hardware-software stack
- Maintain CMake-based flows for emulation libraries
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to solve problems
What they're looking for
- Experience in chip design, verification, or emulation
- Proficiency in Python for automation and testing
- Knowledge of C++ and SystemVerilog RTL
- Ability to integrate transactors handling clock and tri-state issues
- Familiarity with standard chip interfaces and bus protocols
- Skilled at using modern AI tools for coding support
- Commitment to debugging across full stacks
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration
