SOC Emulation Engineer - Hardware Emulation Infrastructure

About this role

Tenstorrent is looking for a junior-to-mid SOC Emulation Engineer to enhance their hardware emulation infrastructure. This hybrid role involves developing Python test frameworks and offering support across multiple chip projects.

What you'll do

• Integrate vendor and custom hardware transactors into testbenches
• Develop Python-based automation and test frameworks
• Support internal chip design teams with emulation needs
• Triage and debug issues across the hardware-software stack
• Maintain CMake-based flows for emulation libraries
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams to solve problems

What they're looking for

• Experience in chip design, verification, or emulation
• Proficiency in Python for automation and testing
• Knowledge of C++ and SystemVerilog RTL
• Ability to integrate transactors handling clock and tri-state issues
• Familiarity with standard chip interfaces and bus protocols
• Skilled at using modern AI tools for coding support
• Commitment to debugging across full stacks
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
