About this role
Tenstorrent is seeking a Machine Learning for Physical Design Intern for their Santa Clara, CA office. The intern will assist in developing ML-based tools aimed at improving performance, power, and area (PPA) for high-performance chip designs in AI/ML architectures.
What you'll do
- Develop ML-based tools to enhance PPA and turnaround time.
- Collaborate with PD engineers on areas like synthesis and timing closure.
- Select datasets and implement new algorithms.
- Conduct ML tests and perform statistical analyses.
- Enhance existing ML systems with innovative algorithms.

- Pursuing a degree in EE/ECE/CE/CS
- Strong in math, probability, and statistics
- Experienced with Machine Learning models
- Proficient in Python and C/C++
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Ability to analyze large datasets
- Familiarity with ASIC physical design fundamentals
