About this role

Torc, a Daimler-owned autonomous vehicle software company, seeks a Software Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and cloud-based systems that process fleet and simulation data for ML training and analytics. What you'll do

  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines processing large daily volumes from vehicle fleets and simulations
  • Build scalable ETL solutions and data storage infrastructure for ML training at enterprise scale
  • Implement data validation, versioning, and governance to ensure data integrity and provenance
  • Collaborate with perception, planning, and vehicle testing teams on data solutions
  • Participate in business-hours on-call rotation to support deployed systems
  • Develop cloud-based infrastructure improvements using Terraform and AWS services
